Horrible experience with Zipcar
My account recently got closed with out any explanation. I paid the annual fee and they can not just close someone's account with out any explanation.
I called the customer service line and they told me they did not know the answer. When I called again, they told me because my account has 22 transactions that did not go through, but each time I paid them right away. It's a visa debit, what can you expect? Sometimes things go wrong.
The guy teased me about it and told me my account got cancelled life time. I did not understand those process, but there is no service should be doing this when the member paid over $2000 in the past 12 weeks and they just said sorry we decided to close your account. If I have been a bad member who never paid the fee or I have a outstanding balance for too long. I can understand that, but if they just decided to do something like that, I will not accept it.
No warnings, no explanation. Just a permanently notification. No way!
A life time decision? Am I a criminal or something?
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Preferred solution: re-open my account! .
Zipcar Cons: Dirty cars, Poor customer service, Immature cancellation of my membership.
